ALLAH THE LIGHT
Allah is the Light of the heavens and earth. His light is like this: there is a niche, and in it a lamp, the lamp inside a glass, a glass like a glittering star, fuelled from a blessed olive tree from neither east nor west, whose oil almost gives light even when no fire touches it-LIGHT UPON LIGHT-Allah guides whoever He will to His Light; Allah draws such comparisons for people; Allah has full knowledge of everything, Allah has full knowledge of everything. (24: 35)
Allah, The Light illuminating the entire creation, The Light revealing the perceptible, making the conceivable known. The Light, ornamenting our faith, dispelling the darkness, dazzling the ALL. The entire existence, knowledge, thought and feeling come from This Light, and all that is existence is nought but that Light.

The Lighter of Lights bestowed His brilliance on the Light of Lights of mankind, Muhammad SallAllahu alaihi wasallam, who said: "O Lord, render me light."

"We sent you as a witness, a bringer of good news and a warner, one who calls to Allah with His permission and a light-giving lamp. (33:46)
Verily, before your Lord made any other thing, He created from His own Light the light of your Prophet{ Nur Muhammad}{ Adam Kadmon} , and that Light rested haithu mashaAllah, where Allah willed it to rest. And at that time there existed aught else‑not the Preserved Tablets, not the Pen, not Heaven nor Hell, not the Angelic Host, not the heavens nor the earth; there was no sun, no moon, no star, no jinn nor man nor angel–none was as yet created, only this Light{ Nur Muhammad}.
Then Allah – glorified be He – by divine decree willed the Creation to be{ Nur Muhammad}. He therefore divided this Light into four parts. From the first part He created the Pen, from the second the Tablets, from the third the Divine Throne.
Now it has become known that when the Lord had created the Tablets and the Pen, the Pen had on it one hundred nodes, the distance between two nodes being that of two years wayfaring. The Lord then commanded the Pen to write, and the Pen asked, “Oh Lord, what shall I write?” The Lord said, “Write: la ilaha ila AllahMuhammadan Rasulullah.” Thereupon the Pen exclaimed, “Oh, what a beautiful, great name is that of Muhammad that it is to mentioned in one with Thy hallowed Name, oh Lord.”
Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas RadhiAllanu anhu has related that he heard the Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi wasallam while going for Salatul Fajr reciting the following Du’a:
O Allah, please make/pour in my heart Nur,
And in my seeing Nur,
And in my hearing Nur,
And on my right Nur,
And on my left Nur,
And on my back Nur,
And in front of me Nur,
And above me Nur,
And below me Nur,
O Allah bestow me with Nur,
Make me Nur,
And in my nerve Nur,
And in my flesh Nur,
And in my blood Nur,
And in my hair Nur,
And in my skin Nur,
And in my tongue Nur,
And in my self Nur.
And grant me profuse Nur,
And make me Nur.

And verily he is the best of all the creation of Allah.
Every miracle which all the Nabi’s showed.
Verily they have been derived from his NUR.
For verily he is the sun of virtue (and) they (Ambiyaa) are its stars.
Which show their lights to people only in the dark.
Until when the sun rose his light spread.
Universally and gave life to all the nations.
Allahumma Yaa Nur as-samaawaati wal ardi
Salli ‘alaa man khalaqtahu min Nurika
Waghfirlee dhanbee wa nawwir qalbee bi-Anwaari Ma’rifatika
Wa bi-Ma’rifatihi Bika
Wa ‘alaa aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallim
O Allah! O The Light of the heavens and the earth
Bestow blessings and peace on the one you created from Your Light
and forgive my sins and fill my heart with
the light of Your Knowledge and the knowledge that is with You,
and (bestow blessings and peace as well)
on his family and companions.
Two excellent articles expanding on this topic.
All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Bless all readers.

al-Haj Abdullah bin Abdurahman al-Qadiri al-Chisti al-Athloni,
I received your two comments via the Spaminator. They seem to be far too long to post in the comment box. If you send me a link then I may be able to post that.
