Assalamu alaikum Dear Umm-e-Shiraaz, google earth is fantastic...especially for those loving maps and history and travelling where our illustrious predecessors sacrificed so much for this Ummah, Masha'Allah. The photos of the Haramain are truly magnificent on the google panoramio feature.
These two posts tell my accounts of Badr:
http://almiskeenah.blogsome.com/category/ramadhan-1428-09/
http://almiskeenah.blogsome.com/category/ramadhan-10/
I will send you the Badr location...not sure how to link it here.
Plus there are many pictures on line if you do a search.
My visits vary each week depending on the weather...in the scorching summer it is impossible to walk there, and during the peak seasons I tend not to go so frequently. If you mean do I offer Salat in Rowdha Shareef when I go for the visiting times for sisters, then yes, I can be in the actual Rowdha Shareef...once again not during the peak times. It is so crowded and best those living here leave even one space for the pilgrims. But sisters can never offer Fardh Salat there as it is only for brothers during this time.
Wassalamu alaikum

JazakAllahu for such vast knowledge.I have yet to find the exact place of Battle of Badr and Masjid Al-Areesh on google earth. Have you been to the battle of badr location? Inshallah you might have some pictures. Please remember us in your humble dua's. especially when you visit Masjid-e-Nabwi.. question again for you, how many time in a week do you get opportunity to pray in Masjid-e-Nabwi, and do you pray on Riazul Jannah on your each visit? JazakAllahu for answering my questions.
