JUMA’AH MUBARAK on this "white" evening of 17th Dhu’l-Qadah. Meanderings in and around Haram at 9pm.
Insha’Allah I will write a few comments tomorrow.
All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Ta’ala Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and His Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. Ameen.

AssalamuAlaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Khala Noor,
Nur ala Nur!!!
SubhanAllah, your radiant pictures have brought tears to my eyes… And WOW, THE MOON!! The moon, the very same moon upon which the blessed gaze of our dear Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) fell over 1400 years ago. The moon is the same moon that is referred to in a hadith, where one of the sahaba radiAllahu ‘anh said that he was with the Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) on a night when it was a full moon and he looked at the Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam), then he looked at the moon, then he looked at the Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam), then he looked at the full moon and he said “I had never seen anything as beautiful as the Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam)”.
Just think – this celestial smile, which when it grows to be full, is used to describe the face of the Beloved of Allah…this beautiful moon was actually compared to the beauty of the Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam).
A L L A H!
Jazakhillahu Khayran.
May Allah Ta’ala and His Beloved SalAllahu Alaihi Wasallam always be pleased with you, Ameen.

Khayr Mubarak to you. I loved the shots of typically Medinah moments — the workers cleaning, the moon, the women sleeping outside the masjid, the lockers to keep your belongings in check… shukran ya Noor.

Assalamu Alaikum,
JazakAllah for these lovely pics. Here is another hadith:
Someone asked: “Was the face of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) like a sword?” He (Jabir ibn Samra, May Allah have mercy upon him) replied; “No, in fact it was like the moon, and i have never seen anything more beautiful than the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).”
Peace and blessings be upon Him, His family and companions .
Wasalam.

Assalamu alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu,
Dear “ALL”,
Jazakumullahu khairan katheeran for sharing your Nur with the Radiant Nur of our beloved City, Ameen to the Du’as, and Alhumdulillah for all that we are constantly blessed with as reminders for the heart, the majestic moon does seem to have a special quality for reminding!
According to Hadith the one who says La iLlah illa Allah 100 times daily will be raised on the Day of Resurrection with a face shining like the full moon, SubhanAllah!
Also Allah Ta’ala refers to the full moon in the following Hadith Qudsi:
In response to Jabir ibn Abdullah asking about crossing the Bridge of Sirat. It was said to him, “We come on the Day of Judgement from such and such (a hill). All nations will be called together with their idols, and what they worshipped, the first, then the second, (and so on). Then our Lord will come to us and say, ‘Whom are you expecting?’ They will say, ‘To see You.’ So, He will manifest Himself to them smiling. He will go and they follow Him and every one of them, believer or hypocrite will be given a light. Upon the bridge of Hellfire there will be hooks and thorns which will take whoever Allah wants. Then, the light of the hypocrites vanishes, and believers are saved. The faces of the first group that will be saved will resemble the full moon on a full moon night….those who will follow them will be like the brightest star in the sky and so on…”
And….when Rasulullah SallAllahu alaihi wasallam was asked if we shall see our Lord on the Day of Judgement he SallAllahu alaihi wasallam answered in the affirmative asking, “Do you have difficulty in seeing the sun at noon when there are no clouds? And do you have any difficulty in seeing the full moon when there are no clouds?” The Sahabah RadhiAllahu anhum replied, “No, O Messenger of Allah!” He SallAllahu alaihi wasallam said, “You will not have any difficulty in seeing Your Allah, Glory be to Him, on the Day of Judgement, as you do not have difficulty in seeing any one of them.”
Insha’Allah we are all from the blessed and receive the Ultimate Grace from Allah Ta’ala for our efforts and desires to be with Him and His most beloved Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. Ameen.
Wassalamu alaikum
