Assalamu alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu,
Dear "ALL",
Jazakumullahu khairan katheeran for sharing your Nur with the Radiant Nur of our beloved City, Ameen to the Du'as, and Alhumdulillah for all that we are constantly blessed with as reminders for the heart, the majestic moon does seem to have a special quality for reminding!
According to Hadith the one who says La iLlah illa Allah 100 times daily will be raised on the Day of Resurrection with a face shining like the full moon, SubhanAllah!
Also Allah Ta'ala refers to the full moon in the following Hadith Qudsi:
In response to Jabir ibn Abdullah asking about crossing the Bridge of Sirat. It was said to him, "We come on the Day of Judgement from such and such (a hill). All nations will be called together with their idols, and what they worshipped, the first, then the second, (and so on). Then our Lord will come to us and say, 'Whom are you expecting?' They will say, 'To see You.' So, He will manifest Himself to them smiling. He will go and they follow Him and every one of them, believer or hypocrite will be given a light. Upon the bridge of Hellfire there will be hooks and thorns which will take whoever Allah wants. Then, the light of the hypocrites vanishes, and believers are saved. The faces of the first group that will be saved will resemble the full moon on a full moon night….those who will follow them will be like the brightest star in the sky and so on…"
And….when Rasulullah SallAllahu alaihi wasallam was asked if we shall see our Lord on the Day of Judgement he SallAllahu alaihi wasallam answered in the affirmative asking, "Do you have difficulty in seeing the sun at noon when there are no clouds? And do you have any difficulty in seeing the full moon when there are no clouds?" The Sahabah RadhiAllahu anhum replied, "No, O Messenger of Allah!" He SallAllahu alaihi wasallam said, "You will not have any difficulty in seeing Your Allah, Glory be to Him, on the Day of Judgement, as you do not have difficulty in seeing any one of them."
Insha'Allah we are all from the blessed and receive the Ultimate Grace from Allah Ta'ala for our efforts and desires to be with Him and His most beloved Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. Ameen.
Wassalamu alaikum

Assalamu Alaikum,

JazakAllah for these lovely pics. Here is another hadith:

Someone asked: "Was the face of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) like a sword?" He (Jabir ibn Samra, May Allah have mercy upon him) replied; "No, in fact it was like the moon, and i have never seen anything more beautiful than the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)."

Peace and blessings be upon Him, His family and companions .

Wasalam.

Khayr Mubarak to you. I loved the shots of typically Medinah moments -- the workers cleaning, the moon, the women sleeping outside the masjid, the lockers to keep your belongings in check... shukran ya Noor.
