Alhumdulillah for the opportunity for khidmah, serving others! Hence posts have been scant, and may be so for another few days.
In and around Masjid Nabawi continues to be alive with activity, both of "Hajj-Radiant" pilgrims, soaking in the Radiance of this Enlightened City, and the many and varied on going construction and maintenance work.
A massive excavation, being shored up with the mandatory lining of walls with concrete, as protetion against the water aquifiers underlying the area. The Shariah courts on the right, beyond which is the Aswaq Al-Haram opposite the glorious Abode of Peace. All construction activuty seems to attract many curious and fascinated on lookers, who line the fences spending time watching the amazing array of machines and equipment operating. The building with the blue tinted windows is where I was visiting before Hajj and the photos in this post were taken from.

An artists impression of the final design being built on this site, scanned from an advertisement. The Arabic saying; OWN IT NOW! I propose we all contribute to purchasing the top floor with a permanent uninterrupted view of where our Beloved Rasulullah SallAllahu alaihi wassalam is. Imagine! Swoon! SubhanAllahu! Du’a!
Looking south from the Oberoi building onto the eastern side of Haram, towards Janntaul Baqi and the site of the extension of Masjid Nabawi. The work is still at the underground car park stage.
All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Ta’ala Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and His Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. Ameen.

as salamu alaykum wa rahmatulLah,
As much as I would like such a view, I dont think I could fulfil the Aadaab of such a blessing. Also, there is something quite special about turning a corner in Madina and suddenly beholding the Blessed Green Dome! (sigh)
How much are these places going for anyway?
Allahuma sali ‘ala syedina wa habibana wa maljana Muhammad wa ‘ala alihi wa sahbihi wa salam!

Assalamu alaikum to each of you for your visit to this humble page from a zillion such pages beaming across the globe. But as sentiments suggest, may the best of visits to the Best of Creation to the most blessed selected piece of this globe be where our hearts find solace and peace. And may we all take whatever means to fill our hearts with love for him SallAllahu alaihi wassalam, desiring more and more closeness and to be with him SallAllahu alaihi wassalam at the Kauthar. May we all be together there, forever at his side, and in the presence of our Lord and Creator, Allah the Almighty, Ameen.
Wassalamu alaikum
