The courtyard between Maghrib and Esha is like one huge picnic, SubhanAllah. The air seems to be wired to an electrical grid. The moment Adhan revberated across This Luminous City at the beginning of this Mubarak month the atmosphere was plugged into a high voltage of joy and a mass response to obey the command to fast purely for Allah Ta’ala. May the one body of the Ummah be granted success, Ameen.
Hundreds of workers deal with hundreds of ZamZam barrels, while hundreds more wheel away hundreds of tons of rubbish.
The patrols of security men, police, commandos keep the crowds away from this area facing our Beloved Messenger SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. Seconds before I took this cars were driving up and down here. But I was on a mission for so many to make Du’a and convey Salam; yes you and yours were included!
I was intitially disappointed with this photo, the Dome of Felcity barely visible, until I focused on the shining golden spark above reflecting the golden spark within. Unfortunately the blog limitation on size reduces the effect. Any requests for the original could be emailed, Insha’Allah.
Pallets of these wooden partitions were stacked in one area. The little kitten was sprawled out on this one, obviously finding the day of fasting a little exhausting.
Construction on the courtyard continues throughout Taraweh until Fajr. May we remember all the labourers in our Du’a as they devote to maintaining and improving the Haramain for the benefit of all.
Looking towards Bab Salam during Taraweh. The partial figure on the right was one of the security men, who was wagging his finger at me after I had taken this photo. I do not understand why they are so worried about taking pictures when all prayers are televized and camera phones are clicking everywhere.
Du’a for day four of Ramadhan from dear Irving Darvish’s inspirational blog. Visit his post where a beautiful Du’a is awaiting to be said for each of the thirty days.
"ALLAH, on this day, strengthen me in carrying out Your commands, let me taste the sweetness of Your remembrance, grant me, through Your graciousness, that I give thanks to You. Protect me, with Your protection and cover, O the most discerning of those who see."
All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Ta’ala Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and His Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. May He accept our humble efforts and grant us the capacity to be good and do good. Ameen.

as-salaamu alaikum khala Noor,
I can imagine you ‘on a mission’!!! May Allah ta’ala accept it from you, amin,

In my own unworthy manner I too pray for you dear sister that Allah continues to shower His abundant love and mercy on you and your family.

You all will continue to be in my Adiyah during these special days and nights….sorry I am not able to convey Salam from the Rowdha like the brothers…Insha’Allah outside the Abode of the Chosen One SallAllahu alaihi wasallam suffices.
