Insha’Allah you and yours are all immersed in the bliss of these final fleeting moments of this most blessed Ramadhan. Such a glorious gift from our Rabb Subhanahu Wa ta’ala. May we all be rejoicing on the Night of Prize Giving for our efforts, especially the millions spending these precious days in I’tikaf across the globe, Ameen.
My intention was not to post until after Ramadhan, but for those who have not already heard or seen the exciting news, the King has announced that from now on Masjid Nabawi will be open day and night throughout the year like the Ka’abah, Allahu Akbar, Alhumdulillah. This is such a soul-stirring decision for the Ummah. May we now make Du’a that the times for Ziyarah for sisters is extended, with the possibility of the authorities designating special times for the entire Rowdha area to be available as well, Ameen.
This Radiant City is electrified, spiritually and literally! Forgive me for not writing or sharing more pictures. I have not been taking many photos.
Taken last night before Taraweh. Many of the buildings are festooned with festive lights draped in various patterns.
The clock roundabout has become a popular landmark for meeting.
Walking home from Haram this young boy with his bunch of balloons was such a contrast from the dim, graffiti decorated lane way. He was off to the famous Quba Street hopeful of earning for his family. I took a sharper image, but I like this impressionistic effect. These merging vibrant colours dazzle as a metaphor of how the energy is here now.
A quick point and shoot looking towards Bab Salam. The dense grouping of brothers occupying one of the prime places in readiness for Taraweh. Many sit waiting there from Iftar.

A scan taken from Arab News of last Juma’ah 23 Ramadhan. The crowds in the Haramain have been unprecedented this year. Today’s account of the millions in Makkah seeking Laylatul Qadr.
All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Ta’ala Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and His Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. May He accept our humble efforts and grant us the capacity to be good and do good. Ameen.

Salams dearest Khala,

Jazak’Allahu Khairan for your update here and on DP!
I’ve calmed down now Alhamdulillah. (must be all that magic energy)
The photo of the anonymous boy with the balloons does have a Monet-esque quality about it. How I would love to be an anonymous face in those crowds.
Please convey my heartfelt Salams to the Best of Creation Sallallahu alayhi wasallam…
because he Sallalahu alayhi wasallam is aware of every one of those anonymous faces & please remember this needy sister who wants more than anything to be invited again soon insha’Allah.
much love & dua’s
Halima

Assalamu alaikum DEAR ALL….and EID MUBARAK, and a forever grateful APPRECIATION for your supportive comments, frequent visits to these humble pages, friendships across oceans and mountains with many of you I have never met, yet Allah Ta’ala has planted such fertile seeds of His Muhabbah between us, SubhanAllah….to all who appear as red dots on the cluster map….this same Muhabbah unties us all…EID MUBARAK. May we all keep each other in our Du’as and eventually meet in THE GARDEN, where, Insha’Allah sunflowers bloom, where there are no “detainees”, where all our foibles, difficulties and weaknesses will be forgotten after one split second of entering such an Abode of Bliss. May this be the reward for one and all, Ameen.
Wassalamu alaikum
