					<description>Assalamu alaikum Dear Umm Yusuf,
the tears flow every time I reread this Qasidah... 'And that you shall arrive on the plain of reckoning, while we encircled by our sins, look on as you shall bend your head in prayer, calling out, &quot;Forgive my people, Allah forgive them.&quot;' Ya Rabb...eternal salutations of peace and blessings on our Noble Intercessor SallAllahu alaihi wasallam.
I mulled over writing Hajj Season 1428 under this old photo...it must be from at least fifty years ago looking at the vehicles...I do not know the exact date...if I find it I will say...it is an image I found ages ago on the net, but there were no details. It reflects the essence of Hajj...a sea of bowed pilgrims at Arafat. SubhanAllah!
Wassalamu alaikum

					<description>Assalamu alaikum,
The Qasida is beautiful,it brought tears to my eyes.
The children were asking if the picture was of a recent Hajj.

					<description>Assalamualaikum dear sister,
Ya Allah! What love these giants held!! What honour was (and is) theirs to have! To address and be addressed by the Beloved Salallahualaihiwasalam! Ya Raab, drown our hearts and souls in the Love for You and Yours.
The book you've shared this episode from; Maulana Muhammad Zakariyya Kandhlawi's (May Allah Ta'ala be pleased with him) Virtues of Salaat ‘Alan Nabi, is a book we've been studying for some time now. Our teacher is a student of Maulana Zakariyya's (May Allah Ta'ala be pleased with him) student Maulana Yousuf Motala (db)and the things he tells us of his Shaykh and Grand Shaykh are simply incredible!
