Assalamu alaikum Dear Brother Abdul Sattar,
indeed it was good!Indeed it was a challenge, but well worth every step, Alhumdulillah. I now have the desire to try it again, but not until next winter, Insha'Allah.

SubhanAllah, your taqwa is amazing sister! beautifull pictures, I alway wonder how our beloved Rasool Allah spend the nights in dark and cold, with eiry noises around of bugs and little creatures, Rasool Allah's taqwa was so great, that these things did not bothered him at all, and top of that climbing of Jabal-e-Nur very often. SubhanAllah in todays age we get tired of climbing and complain so much. SubhanAllah.
P.S I love those monkeys! haven't seen those in a while.

Assalamu alaikum Dear Umm Yusuf, if I can do it then easy for you! Amazing what shots of determination can do! There were several cats, but this one so friendly.
Insha'Allah Dear Sister Tasnim your test is a success...but more so the BIG ONE we all ultimately face. May you be given the opportunity to climb Jabal Nur over and over. Same for you Dear Brother Ikramuddin...yes I have a photo of that Masjid by one of the Rihla participants...Insha'Allah will post it soon. Accompanying all the huffing and puffing during this adventure were exactly the same imaginative ponderings...just how it must have been for our Beloved Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasallam walking to and from Makkah, spending days in this remote cave, receiving revelations from Jibreel Alaihis Salam...the heart almost bursts with Allah Ta'ala's Wisdom and Generosity He has bestowed upon us.
Dear Editor of Ijtema, JazakumuLlahu khairan for selecting this post. May you all continue to be blessed with Tawfiq for the efforts you promote for Muslims, Ameen.
Dear Irving Darvish..your reason for my climb has sunk deeply...I never thought of this aspect of the struggle...SubhanAllah...a moving observation, JazakumLlahu khairan. You all were in my Du'a there.
Wassalamu alaikum

Alhamdulillah! And Salaam Alaikum my Dearest Sister:

Ameen to your lovely prayer. And the peace and blessings of Allah be with you always, and with your family. Another beautiful and moving post. Surely, love and mercy will follow you all the days of your life, as you showed love and mercy to that cat by giving him water to drink. That was the real purpose of your climb, dearest Sister, and the true purpose of all who love the blessed Prophet (pbuh) and who love Allah more than themselves.

Your account brought tears to my eyes, and joy to my heart.

Ya Haqq!

SUBHANALLAH!!
Assalamualaikum my dearest sister! Just the other day we found some OLD pictures from when we ascended Gari Hira for perhaps the first time... and then today I read your beautiful post :) I often sit and imagine what it must have been like to be on that mountain side... in complete isolation, lost in contemplation. During the Rihla we visited a masjid near by which is said to mark the spot where our Beloved Rasul Salallahualaihiwasalam would come to meet with our mother Khadija Radiallahuanha, in order to spend some time with her, as well as stock up on more supplies before returning to that mountain retreat... May we all understand the beauty of that moment.

The lessons to be learned from our Beloved Rasul Salallahualaihiwasalam going first to his beloved wife, our mother Khadija Radiallahuanha, upon being visited by Jibril alaihisalam are truly very powerful for those who sit an ponder the depth of it all!

Ameen thuma ameen to all your duas and once again, Jazakiallah khair for allowing us to share in your journeys and experiences in that Blessed land.
