Rabi’alAwwal 1429 17 [Rabi'alAwwal 1429] — almiskeenah @ 9:11 pm

And verily, you (O Muhammad) are on an exalted standard of character. (68:4)
Say (O Muhammad); "If you love Allah then follow me, Allah will love you…" (3:31)

The Bliss of the Two Abodes in the Invocation of Blessings on the Master of the Two Universes by al-Qadi Yusuf al-Nabhani

I am the slave of the Master of Prophets

And my fealty to him has no beginning.

I am slave to his slave, and to his slave’s slave,

And so forth endlessly!

I do not cease to approach the door

Of his good pleasure among the novices.

I proclaim to all the science of his high attributes,

And sing this science among the poets.

Perhaps he will tell me: “You are the Salman

Of my allegiance, the Hassan of my excellent homage!”

Yes, I would sacrifice my soul for the dust of his sanctuary!

His favour should be that he accept my sacrifice.

He has triumphed who ascribes himself to him,

Not that he needs such following.

For he is not in need of creation at all,

While they all need him without exception.

He belongs to Allah alone, Whose pure servant he is,

As his attributes and names have made manifest;

And every single favour in creation comes from Allah

To him and from him to everything else.

And I would sacrifice my soul to be just one particle of dust that is encircling this Dome, the central gem within the luminous setting chosen as the final resting place of the Master of Prophets SallAllahu alaihibwasallam.

A veil of soft invisibilty gently drapes over the heaven made mountains and and the man made buildings, melting hearts even more to the one they flock to be near, to the one eyes weep for, souls yearn, tongues repetitively greet and seek blessings for. Groups are as a fluid entity within this jewelled setting, glistening with a glow reflected from the radiance of the most radiant SallAllahu alaihi wasallam, whose light illuminates the entire Universe….

…while weeping fills the spaces inbetween. Tears drop as pearls adding yet another hue, expressing negligence, awe, a love that is too little, a love that is so huge, a hope for favours, even for the destitute state we are in….’He has triumphed who ascribes himself to him,’ Ameen Ameen Ameen. As long as the wind continues to blow, the stars appear in the sky and the birds sing, the Ummah will arrive from across the globe, humbly presenting themselves to the court of the Prince, Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum, the Sealed Nectar, SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. Witnessing the old, the young, the wealthy, the poor, the dark, the light, the rich and diverse conditions of the seekers, love flourishes, yearning blossoms, the Iman sparks in this City of united hearts of hope and peace.

The time share building directly opposite the Dome of Felicity peeps over the Shariah court building…I want the top floor for you all!

‘I do not cease to approach the door of his good pleasure among the novices’; shoes bearing witness to all who have approached!

And verily, you (O Muhammad) are on an exalted standard of character. (68:4)
Say (O Muhammad); "If you love Allah then follow me, Allah will love you…" (3:31)

May we triumph as we ascribe ourselves to him SallAllahu alaihi wasallam celebrating his birth with each passing breath of every passing day, Ameen.

Allahumma Salli ‘alaa Sayyidina wa Maulana Muhammadin ‘adada maa fee ‘ilmillahi Salaatan daa’imatan bi dawaami mulk illah.
JazaLlahu anna Sayyidina Muhammadun salaAllahu alayhi wasalama maa huwa ahluhu.

All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Ta’ala Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and His Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. May He accept our humble efforts and grant us the capacity to be good and do good. Ameen.

  4. Wa ‘alaikumus Salam Dear sisters and sweet little Asiyah, I was amazed to see this huge number of shoes…usually the pile is far less than this here, although in Makkah it is even more and many such mountains around dorrways. These were just outside Bab as-Salam …I was expecting to see hundreds of brothers inside thinking they had left their shoes there, but very few were inside offering Salam, so I guess these are lost or left shoes…incredible that so many could be lost or abandoned. The visitors her the other day relayed the story of one of their marcis coming for Hajj a few years ago. When she returned she was wearing a beautiful new pair of shoes, Upon inquiring she explained that every day coming out from the Masjid she would choose a new and different pair of shoes! Having several pairs from this household go ‘missing’ I always carry my one and only pair of battered Birkenstocks in a bag that rarely leaves my sight as they are not replaceable here. Maybe I am too obsessed!
I do dream of living in one of these new buildings and sharing it with others…a dream it will remain…but a nice one…but the bigger dream is to be in the exclusive dust of Jannatul Baqi, Insha’Allah with full room service over looking Jannah!! Ya Rabb!
Tanam Farsooda is so moving…and more so for you Dear Sister Saimah as you do not need a translation! Alhumdulillah.
    Wassalamu alaikum

  5. hmm! I’ve heard by our sheikh that we should not choose another pair from the Masjid-e-Nabwi, last time I lost mine (very comfortable sandals) and I had to walk barefoot to the nearby store to buy one (not so comfortable) even though there were hundreds of sandals abondoned. I like to see how battered your Birkernstock is, post a picture, please.
