SEVEN
A certain devotee was one night making Dhikr of Allah Ta’ala’s name in complete sincerity so much so that from his Dhikr his saliva tasted so sweet. Shaytan said to him: “O Dhakir, be silent. Why are you reciting this Dhikr so profusely? It is of no benefit. After all, you do not get any reply from Allah Ta’ala’s side. So what benefit is there in one sided love?”
Hearing these words of deceit from Shaytan, the Dhakir became broken-hearted and depressed. He postponed the rest of his Dhikr and went to sleep.
That night he saw a dream that Khidr Alaihis Salam came to him asking: “Why were you negligent of your Dhikr last night?”
The Dhakir replied: “From Allah Ta’ala’s side there was no reply of ‘Labbaik’, so from this I got the impression that my Dhikr was not accepted by Him.”
Khidr Alaihis Salam said: “Allah Ta’ala has sent a message to you. He has said: ‘Tell this servant of mine. O My servant your saying “ALLAH” is My reply of Labbaik (I am present)’”
(In other words, when your first “ALLAH” is accepted by Allah Ta’ala, then only you are granted the ability to say “ALLAH” the second time. Thus this second “ALLAH” is Labbaik from His side)
O My bondsman, this offering of yours and this burning pain and love for Me
All these are My messages to you.
O My bondsman, these efforts of yours out of love for Me, your Dhikr and your spiritual struggles
Are from My side a reflection of attraction towards Me.
My search for You too is as a result of someone’s kindness.
These feet do not lift up, they are lifted up.
O My bondsman, your fear and your love of Me is a gift from My side
It is the attraction of My Grace and Mercy, and in your every ‘Ya Rabb, Ya Allah’
My Labbaik is included. “I am present.”
The soul of an ignorant one is deprived of this Dhikr and Du’a
And he is not blessed towards saying ‘Ya Rabb, Ya Rabb!’
All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Ta’ala Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and His Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. May He accept our humble efforts and grant us the capacity to be good and do good. Ameen.

Assalamu alaikum,
This is really beautiful and such an encouragement for the believers.
Jazakallahu Khairan,
Wassalam

Assalamu alaikum Dear Sisters, JazakumuLlahu khairan for your kindness and time in visiting! Sorry…I have been somewhat busy these days…
One Hadith regarding the writing is that our Beloved Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasallam said, ‘Whoever invokes blessing upon me in writing, the angels never cease asking for forgiveness for his sake as long as my name is in that book.’ (Tabarani, al-Mu’jam al-Awsat) and there are other narrations, but that is the one I found quickly, Masha’Allah. That is why I love to ‘doodle’ little designs…may Allah Ta’ala increase us all in our salutations, Ameen.
Wassalamu alaikum
