In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.
Praise is to Him who guided the believers to the truth.
And may His blessings and salutations be upon Mohammad SallAllahu alaihi wasallam.

I feel so far away. Akin to being on a different planet. A foreign alien in the city of my childhood. In a time warp. Some places are unrecognizable, others, like this trip to the Otways, was stepping into an ancient primordial forest, unchanged in the decades since living amidst tall gums and tree ferns.
The retreating lake, due to the drought conditions, on the outskirts of the closest township to where life was without electricity and running water. An alternative experience of self sufficiency with home grown vegetables, goats, cows, bees, churning butter, producing home made preserves, spinning wool and inhaling the fresh crisp eucalyptus forest air. If only it could be bottled!
Moist dank undergrowth of the rainforest….
….abundant with fungi, lichens and mosses….
….and gum trees….
….towering blackwoods….
….minarets of the bush reaching heavenward…
…while we decided to ascend skyward to the treetops, visiting the world’s longest and highest tree top walk being 600 metres long and 47 breathtaking metres high….
…rolling mists enhancing the already suberb….
…an ambling koala oblivious to the danger of being on the road….
…as we left the magic of the forest to the exhilarating coast…
….where gnarled and twisted tea trees formed bizarre antics on the foreshore…
Allahu Akbar! SubhanAllah for Allah Ta’ala’s abounding magnificence.
All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Ta’ala Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and His Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. May He accept our humble efforts and grant us the capacity to be good and do good. Ameen.

Salaam alaikum. I was just reading about some scientists who climbed those kinds of trees (”The Wild Trees” by Preston). They said that when the wind blows, the hanging strips of bark make an eerie clattering noise. Would love to come to Australia sometime and see the huge trees, insha’allah.

Wa ‘alaikumus Salam Dear ALL!
the experience IS amazing, SubhanAllah. Truly needed a hit of the beauty and splendour of this corner of Allah Ta’ala’s wonder and to be seeing loved ones, but the heart cries for The Loved One, SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. Will look into that book Baba, JazakumuLlahu khairan for sharing it. The koalas are an incredible animal and quite prolific in some of the places we have been visiting, children love them, they are very cuddly
Am wanting to post so much but have been kept very busy and about to go to where there is no connection.
I miss you all too!!
Wassalamu alaikum
