Those seeking a nearness to our Beloved Prophet SallAllahu alaihiwasallam on the first night of Taraweeh of this Ramadhan would see another area sectioned off for more umbrellas to be installed, on the eastern side of the wide courtyard facing Qibla. Salat in this section is invalidated as it is in front of the Imam, but it seems there must be wisdom in covering this area before the more frequented places. Allahu ‘Alum
Brothers patiently waiting for Esha Adhan in the first Saff….
…the atmosphere was festive…workers attending to positioning extra Zamzam containers…
…placing additional outdoor bookcases for the fervent readers of Qur’an…
…and spreading new carpets, that soon were no longer visible as brothers formed uniformed line upon line seeking the bounteous blessings of offering Taraweeh so close to our Noble Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam…
….sisters filled their designated area inside, spilling onto the new eastern courtyard…
….another new section having been just completed for the Ramadhan crowds, extending further out towards the final size this area eventually will be. Alhumdulillah this side is now open as a walkway for all, one side taped off for brothers. For the first time in about two years the doors of Abdul Aziz for brothers are functioning once more. Alhumdulillah.
May all seeking during this Mubarak month be rewarded with an increased Imam, a soul that is showered with Mercy, with a slate that is totally wiped and forgiven, all tasting a solace from the effort of sacrifice, a tranquility in giving, and peace in submission. May the Ummah of Muhammad SallAllahu alaihi wasallam return to the glory that illuminated these very spaces as the noblest of mankind RadhiAllahu anhum sought the pleasure of their Lord, Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. Ameen.
All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Ta’ala Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and His Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. May He accept our humble efforts and grant us the capacity to be good and do good. Ameen.
Salam!!!

Wa ‘alaikumus Salam, seems you are having a real ‘primate’ moment this Ramadhan Ya B of B!!! Yes, this City of Luminance is changing so rapidly. Insha’Allah you are soon here with the most loved of life companions
RAIN…I can barely conjure what it is! Would love some right now. I’ll send you some heat and some basboosa!
A treat to see you here Dear Baraka. May the Barakah from Madinah surround you and yours.
:) Dear Zenab. Sorry I should have been more explicit…just that it is the third Ramadhan that I have posted this chart to inspire those who are able to complete a reading of the Qur’an Majeed during this month and I was assuming all knew what it meant. Alhumdulillah you got it! I think we are all slow these first few days as the body adjusts to new rhythms. May all our efforts be accepted.
Wassalamu alaikum
