Some of the taxi drivers are too lazy and/or miserly to stop at places and use the excuse of being apprehended...other times there is a genuine risk they take which I have experienced when requesting them to go to the cave at Jabal Uhud. Dear Sister Rozina, I have emailed you, JazakiLlahu khairan for this offer. Some of the taxi drivers are too lazy and/or miserly to stop at places and use the excuse of being apprehended…other times there is a genuine risk they take which I have experienced when requesting them to go to the cave at Jabal Uhud. We recently stopped at the resting place of our mother Khadija when we attended Umrah, but not for long enough to make du'a as the driver said the police would tell him off.. I look forward to the day when one can travel to these places without restriction.
