Laylatul Qadr.
Ya Rabb,
Lift the Veils
Displaying the jewel in the Crown of Nights.
Souls ceaselessly searching
Between the sheer satiny layers.
Hearts seeking.
Drowned in frenzied particles
Electrified by the presence of Your Cherished Angels.
Sent from beneath Your Throne,
From beyond the Lote tree,
From every Heaven.
More numerous than the pebbles on the earth,
Ornamented with Your precious pearls, rubies, corals, gems.
Entering homes,
Caressing our being,
Mesmerizing minds
Until abandonment.
O Ominpotent Owner of Might and Bounty,
Lift the Veils
So Your Divine Presence
Penetrates this Night of Dignity
These hours of Immense Worth.
May we prostrate with the entire creation
That split minute fraction of a moment
When ants, elephants, trees, birds, fish
Fall.
All falls.
Everything created thing falls.
Falls in sheer adoration.
Annilated.
Ya Rabb,
Lift the Veils
So we may glimpse
Jibreel placing Your Divine Banner
On the Abode of Your chosen soul
Of the secret of the knowledge of Your Words.
Words as diamonds illuminating mankind.
Till the end of time.
Ya Rabb,
Lift the Veils,
To Your manifestation
Of matters finally ordained.
To sense the joy of freedom from the Fire.
To the reverie of enchanted bliss.
Ya Rabb,
You are forgiving.
You love forgiveness.
Forgive us all.
Ameen.
